Is Grooming a good buisness to own?

i would groom dogs and cats n stuff but mainly dogs. I was just wondering if this is a good business to own and i was wondering the average salary for a person that owns a grooming salon?
 
If you're in a place where there are very few groomers and lots of dogs, AND you're good - then it's possible for you to make some money.

Average salary depends on where you live.
 
Watch the show "Beverly Hills Groomer" on Animal Planet on Saturday nites & see what a hard time he is having making a profit.

He won "Groomer of the Year" last year & is still having a difficult time building his business.

It is a lot of hard work, at times dealing with difficult clients, so you have to really love what you are doing or it will become a burden rather than a career.
