Is Gordon's Vodka supposed to smell like rubbing alcohol/nail-polish remover?

So i asked my friend (girl) if she good get me some vodka because im going on my 8th grade trip and she did and IT IS Gordon's Vodka (her parents have alot of vodka)......but after she gave it to i was smelling it and i thought that it smelled like rubbing alcohol....and i was wondering if Gordon's Vodka is supposed to smell like that?? please help....i dont want to get sick because of drinking rubbing alcohol
