I'm taking a basic mechanics class at a local tech school and I've decided that I want to make working on cars my career. I'm considering going to UTI after I'm done with the class I'm in now, the problem is that I know it's quite expensive, around $20,000-$30,000. What I want to know is if anyone knows about the school and if going there to become a "technician" instead of a mechanic is worth the financial investment. How much more does a "technician" make than a mechanic? Is it worth the investment?
