Why, if god wanted us to believe that he created us from earth and rib, would he put a wide variety of organisims' remains in the earth. Just so we could dig them up and find that the oldest fossils, resting in the oldest layers of the earth, were the simplist organisms and the most recent are the most complex organisms.... registering as fact in our rational minds that life started simple and slowly became more complex and more wonderful.
