Is God also the God of Alien Civilizations?

We will eventually find intelligent life out there and if we have contact and communication with another civilization what would our stance be on religion? I personally would not want religion brought up at all in our conversations. I'm just curious as to how religious people would handle being part of a galactic community?

Alien civilizations would almost certainly go through a period similar to us, where they subscribe to belief in the supernatural.

By the time an alien civilization became technologically advanced to contact us, they would have long ago abandoned such nonsense. Tribal god figures would exist only in their history books.

Since every man-made society has eventually invented some sort of a higher power, it would seem logical that other "alien" civilizations have done the same. The "gods" they invented would not be the same "gods" we have invented, of course. So it you are thinking of a particular "God" with a capital "G", then no, that is not at all likely.
As to how "religious" people would handle that fact, consider that they can't handle the fact that there are how many sects within christianity that can't get along? And that 2/3 of the world's population is not christian at all. So I think you can see that handling alien "gods" on top of that would seriously drive 'em nuts!

there are no aliens. theres no mention of them in the bible, therefore they dont exist
