Is GM really going to close down?

I was wondering if gm was going to close down anytime soon because I heard this a while back. And since chevy is part of gm would they also close?

No reason why General Motors would shut down. They've paid back the bail-out loan they received from the US Government and they are in a better financial position now than they were several months ago.
