first off im sorry for all those dumb "donkeys" that don't understand this. people are stupid.

and your right about "If many gay people see multiple partner marriage as wrong then why do gays have a problem with straight people seeing gay marriage as wrong?" because i think the same way about multiple marriage yet im gay. you have really opened up doors for me to think about here thank you. and i think all your theories and hypothesis's are very well thought out

Isn't acceptance of gay marriage really just the crack that sets the foundation for people who want other types of marriage? Gay marriage would inspire people who want multiple partner marriages or people who want to marry within their family!
In fact, I would bet most gays don't see a problem with multiple partner marriages or marrying within your own family. If it feels good and you love one another it is acceptable isn't it? What is next, Rick marrying his rat terrier at Petco?
If many gay people see multiple partner marriage as wrong then why do gays have a problem with straight people seeing gay marriage as wrong?
I agree. There are straight people who see nothing wrong with multiple partner marriages. They also sniff glue all weekend and wax their cars at night in the buff!
Interracial marriage has always make biological sense and so it was wrong. Gay marriage doesn't!
Ultimately this isn't about gay marriage itself. This is about the bigger picture and what gateway gay marriage would be for other types of marriage! Simple as that!
Marriage is religious institution and shold be treated as such. If gays want to be partners then go to a courthouse, sign a piece of paper, and that is that!
Marriage is a religious institution and only Adam and Eve should be allowed the luxury!

The reason that this is a valid question is because one of the arguments in support of gay marriage is that marriage is a fundamental human right and any consenting adults should be free to marry whomever they please. If you redefine marriage to allow consenting adults of the same sex to marry, then presumably you would have to allow consenting adults of the same family to marry. You would also have to allow consenting adults enter plural marriages.

We are just different people who want to share a same-sex relationship, not marry our dogs!

Tell me, how would you feel if straight marriage was illegal. Would you like it? No you wouldn't.

at least with gay marriage its two PEOPLE
and yeah, a lot of gays see multiple partner marriages as wrong.
however....there ARE straight people who dont see that as wrong.
so really, get your facts right.

edit: marriage is a religious thing, yeah. but you know..i bet when God created marriage, he intended it to last forever, not with what half of the world does and end it with divorce.

adam and eve weren't perfect either. if they hadn't eaten that fruit, we wouldnt be having this conversation right now.

Replace "Gay marriage" with "interracial marriage" and you've got the speeches of crazy people from before Civil Rights down pat. Incidentally, this is equally as crazy.

Edit: You realize that being partners by going to the courthouse and signing of papers is all mar- oh you're not serious, are you?

Edit: You didn't even get your last line right! You're supposed to say "Its Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve"
