I have been reading about college applications recently and, although I am only a sophomore, I have a question. I have read that it is very important to be deeply invested in at least one extracurricular activity. I don't have anything as impressive as an awesome musical talent or something as unique as fencing. The main extracurricular activity that I participate in is forensics, which is also known as speech. In freshman year I won state individually in an event named Humorous Interpretation and strive do the same the rest of my high school career. My question is: is forensics an impressive enough extracurricular activity... because that's really the thing I am best at.
