Is Ford the next Harley Davidson?

Back in the earlt 1900's there were many american made bikes...Harley Indian excelsior ariel and many others then WWII came and harley got the contract for the military bikes and no more indian.
So is history just repeating itself and is Ford set to be the American car maker the sole one left after the fall just like Harley.
By the way I would like to thank all you RUBS(rich urban bikers) for buying so many Harley's insuring a good supply of used bikes for real riders for many years to come.
 
I truly think that the concept of an American car is an anachronistic concept in the global economy of today.

Many foreign car manufacturers for instance -- like Honda and Toyota -- have autonomous car manufacturer companies based here in the States which use a blend of US and foreign parts and bring jobs to the US while some US car manufacturers are beginning to build their vehicles in countries like Mexico where the labor is cheaper.
