same; and other questions? hello im for all intensive purposes vegan. But i eat fish because i thought it was good for me and doesnt break down and produce acid like other animal proteins ( if this statement is wrong can someone let me know; just talking about the fish part i know meat is not good and its not debateable with me thanx). Anyways i eat about 4 to 5 cans of tuna a week and have been doing so for a couple months, albacore and light . and i looked into the mercury contents before and guess i chose to end my search when i read what benefitted my desire and not the truth of the situation. so what are the symptoms of too much mercury? How many cans should i eat a week? as of this minute im not eating fish for awhile to free my body of mercury; but how long does it take to detox? any other info whether about being vegan to anythin is greatly appreciated because im trying to be very healthy and take care of myself for my family and self. i weigh 175 and am a dude im 6'2
