Is Film Four about to become Free-to-view?

I've heard a rumour that Film Four is going to be permanently free. Any truth in this?

I haven't heard this, they charge quite a lot for the subscription. They show great films but for the price you could go out and buy the DVD ( lots of old films so it would be cheap) or rent it.

They freeviewed E4 so that might be the way they are going

Not sure about going FTV on Sky, but I've heard rumours on a couple of boarRAB that they may be thinking of launching on Freeview.
