Is EOD for the army a fun and good MOS to have?

I am currently a PFC in the army reserves and sick of my civilian life and miss my training days so i wanted to go active. i was thinking of being an MP or EOD but i hardly know anything about EOD... anyone care to explain to the lame private what exactly EOD does and if its a fun and good MOS to choose?
