Is environmental science a good field for those who like jobs in nature and care

about the environment? I seem interested in environmental science. I want a field that has to do with nature and that has jobs that allow me to work with nature. So far it seems to me to be a field that involves caring about the environment and allowing me to work with nature. I have been told it's a field for both of those and hope it is. I just decided it as my major this year. I have some obstacles to go through such as complicated chemistry courses but it's worth it if it's the field I want. I just want to make sure the field involves jobs with nature and the environment. Thanks.
Yes chemistry is the most difficult. I need chemistry 121 and 122 for my degree. However before I can even understand them and take them I must take chem 100 and 111. I am taking chem 100 now and struggling with it. It is daunting thinking I will need to do 3 more. However the field seems to be the one for me so I am thinking if I work hard I can do it. I have been working with a tutor for awhile and will continue too.
