Schools and colleges are forced to provide great achievement records but most, if not all, are 'fiddling' their outcomes. Student are now taught how to pass an exam rather than taught the full curriculum. Universities have claimed for outcomes that people didn't even attend. I work in a college in Liverpool and we were given a 2 during the last OFSTED inspection. All I can say is that they must have thought of a number because my colleagues agree that we should have scored a 4 or 5.
