Is earth round????????????? if yes then read this?

Assume an helicopter is in air (above earths surface around 12 km)at the same location for more than 10 hours and then it lands ...... will the helicopter land in the same helipad where it took off...the helicopter was just above the helipad straight for more than 10 hours
will the helicopter land in the same position . if yes then has earth not rotated????
 
The earth isn't really round it's like an oval it longer on the equator then the prime meridian. An to answer your question yes it will for gravity now if said helicopter was in space then no, because in space earth's gravity is less.
 
yes. the heli would land in the same place. because of the effect of gravity will hold the helicopeter in the same spot as the earth rotates making the heli stay directly above the helipad
