Is doing a BEng degree in electronics good?

I am considering doing a BEng degree in electronics. The degree is offered by Sheffield Hallam University and can be completed in full in Sri Lanka (which is where I live). I just want to know whether there will be good jobs for it given the fact that it is a BEng degree. (Which I really don’t know much about)
No point of asking the university reception for they will never tell you of any disadvantages. Please help me……..
