I am 16 and live in Indiana. Me and my dad have looked into emancipation because it's just not working with us at all. (Not going to go into detail on that), but it would basically be impossible for me to get legally emancipation. So, i was looking around on the internet for other options, and i found the informal agreement. When i move out of his house, i'm moving back to the town i had to move from to come here. But neither I, or my dad, knows if an informal agreement between ourselves is in needing of going to court or not. We both agree that i will be living in that town and he is no longer going to support me financially or anything. So, if we do write an informal agreement, do we need to go to court for it and have anyone else besides ourselves sign it?
I've been searching and searching for an answer to that but i simply cannot find one. So, if any information on this is known, i would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.
