Well today I got a haircut and it's been cut too short. Apparently "trim a little" means clip the bangs and the sides by 2 inches. >_>
Anyway, afterwords I went home and left conditioner on for about 5 or 10 minutes before washing out. Yesterday I left it in for about 40 minutes, and right now I'm about to do that Mayonnaise hair thing where you just leave mayo your hair for about an hour or so to treat it.
Will all these extra measures help or will it backfire? Is there a certain limit on how much I can condition?
BTW this is in an effort to reduce hair damage and thereby make my hair grow back faster :\
PS: I'm a guy, by the way. I just hate this new haircut and I'm willing to try anything that will help as quickly as possible. So nothing like "do this for 2 months and you'll see great results" crap, school starts next week and I want to look not horrible.
tl;dr- My hair was cut really short. Is conditioning going to help it as it grows back or will it do damage if I do so too often?
