is comcast a good company for online gaming ?

i don't know that much about computers and technology but i've recently read a lot of people hating on comcast because they said they'll disconnect their service for using a lot of bandwidth and stuff .. if i get comcast for my online gaming w/ my ps3, will this affect me ?? and if yes, then what's another good company to go through ?? i'm f'n hooked to my call of duty : world at war .. i just want the best connection i can get .. i have clearwire right now .. bbbooooooo =x
