Is college/university statistics a good choice?

I recently passed my final remedial class at my college and soon will start college level classes. I know I can't handle precalc. but my other choices would be Liberal Arts math or statistics. I thought about taking statistics since I was thinking of majoring in Business and/or Social Sciences.
P.S. What type of math would I expect in this type of class?
