Is Clean & Clear a good acne product?

I have really bad acne *stupid genetics* and I have used Clean&Clear advantage, but after 2 days it dried out my skin really badly, so I am thinking of switching to Clean&Clear SOFT.. its a new product.. does anyone know a good, effective, cheap acne product that won't cause dry skin? And, do you think Clean&Clear is the way to go?
