Is civilization 4 worth the money?

I've noticed that for the mac civ 4 is almost 50$, but on windows its only 20$, why? I was going to buy it but then i noticed its so much more money on the mac, if only i didn't waste all my spare cash on the movies, by the way i noticed warlords is cheaper, does the expansion include the full civ 4 game plus new content or do i need the full game separate?
