I work at Circuit City in Oregon, and, as we all know, its closing. I've been reading a lot on what laws they have to abide by since they don't seem to follow proper labor laws unless sued to. Some I'm curious about though is if they have to pay us for 60 days (says the WARN Act), even though they only gave us 10 days notice of our last day, and what the laws state about receiving our last paycheck. Are we still supposed to wait two weeks, or is it like the regular law where they have to pay us our last check by our last day. And how can I tell if they're going to do the right thing, and what do I do if they aren't?
Thank you!
