O Owned by an Aussie New member Aug 2, 2009 #2 Video killed the radio star, dvd's killed vhs, blu-rays are trying to kill dvds...so yes CGI is taking over as the new animatronics. Hollywood is thinking, why should we have to build a giant robot when we can just create one for a cheaper budget on the computer. It's not completely gone yet, but I'm afraid it will be soon.
