I have a diesel car VW Golf TDI 02 that uses synthetic oil 5W-40. There was leakeage of oil near the engine (near the EGR) that was not fixed for a few months. The oil that leaked was "cooked" by the engine while driving and from time to time burning oil smell was noticeable from inside the car. is this a cancer risk if not fixed on time?
The following link (section 15) shows the material "does not contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer" : https://www.amsoil.com/msds/deo.pdf
However, I'm not sure about burning and breathing it for a few months due to the oil leakage mentioned(?)
THANKS.
