Everyone always talks about what a poor investment manufactured homes are and how they are just like owning a vehicle as they depreciate in value. I completely understand that and I realize that if I ever wanted to sell it, it would be almost impossible to get my money back. However, my question is, if I never plan on selling it and I plan on living in it for the next 60 years (hoping I live that long) is it such a bad idea to purchase one ?
Is buying a manufactured home/mobile home an OK thing if I plan on growing old in it?
