is buying a bike from bikesdirect.com safe?

Anybody have experience with buying from bikesdirect.com ? An owner at a bike shop told me to cautious about it when i mentioned it, cuz sometimes they send the wrong thing or wrong color. Its probably cuz he wanted to sell a bike to me. but it still made me think..., so any input will help! thanks!
 
I don't think you will have a problem. They are rated a top seller on ebay. Make sure you know the correct size and that you can assemble a bike and be able to tune it.
