$9000 seems a bit high to me. I'vee got a 2003 Grand Cherokee with just under 70,000 miles on it and it'll sell for around $7000. Honestly, I have NO problem with Ford (or any domestic for that matter) but I would not spend that kind of money on an American car with that many miles. I am assuming this is going to be your primary (or only) car. How's your credit? If it's alright, go find a car that still has a warranty or one that can be transferred to a new owner. Be patient when buying a used car. Seems to me that if you can afford almost 10 grand on a car you'd be better off finding a brand new one or at least one with under 70,000 miles. 125,000 miles is a LOT of miles. The vehicle may be in decend shape but it can only go down hill from here.
