Now i know that breathing in the fumes of many plastics can be very toxic to our human lungs. and my body tells me this because it smells horrible!! :P. Anyways, All i'm wondering is if its bad for the environment to burn it. It seems like that if you have a super hot fire (i do) and if you live out in the country (i do) than the fume will go high up in the air and become so unconcentrated that they wont be harmful to anyone. Keep in mind that the chemicals and fuel in plastic are derived directly from the same source as everyday used things such as Gasoline, Diesel, and much more. Americans alone burn more than millions of gallons of this fuel everyday and it goes up into the atmosphere. Plastic contains almost at much usable calories and fuel as gasoline when it is in a liquid state. So whats the problem with plastic? please give me as much information related to burning plastic that is UNRELATED to health problems that are RELATED to direct contact or exposure (from the smoke in this case) to the human lungs. Thanks!
