In the early summer this year, I sold my car. I now rely on my bicycle and occasionally public transportation (bus). I will ride my bicycle as much as I can through winter, but I just want to know how safe it is to bike in the snow/slush/ice compared to driving a car through it. I may have to stick to the bus and walking when it gets bad, but if anyone has advice on biking through the snow, that would be great!
