...Christian? If I believe that the soul does not enter the body until later (when the heart beats or its first breath is taken or anything in between, and I'm pro-choice up until that point), does that mean I'm not a Christian (even if I believe Jesus is God)?
What is the belief that conception is the moment that the soul exists based on? I am married, btw. No kids, no abortions.
If there was a good reason to believe a specific time was transformative, I would believe it. Just haven't heard the religious justification yet.
the Christian -- are you saying that our souls existed before conception? so if our parents had not had sex, or they'd used protection, or they'd had an abortion, it'll all be the same thing?
Nicole -- I'm with you. I mean, it makes sense, but so do other theories about it. So if you find out anything, let me know! haha
