Is being a good sketch artist a requirement when studying for a fine arts...

...degree in photography? So I'm a junior in high school, and am very much interested in photography. However, when I see college curriculum for fine arts degrees, although they offer photography specializations, they all start with art 101 - introduction to drawing. I'm very bad at drawing. Should I just choose a different major? I'd hate to do that, I've become so impassioned about photography. Any ideas?
 
you want to be a photographer but you don't want to draw... which begs the question, why are you interested in photography at all?
