...wins and losses? Why? Shouldn't Quarterbacks and Goalies also have wins and losses added to their stats?
A pitcher might throw less than 1 inning of relief or give up a s**tload of runs and still get the win. The QB on the other hand basically runs the offense and more often than not, the teams ability to score points depend heavily on the QB. BOTTOM LINE - NO SCORE, NO WIN!
 
goalies in hockey does have stat for how many win and lose he has in season, the stat show how many save he make, how many goal, he allow, the percentage of save he make in game, it is how people decide if the goalie is good or not
