Is Avantgo having issues today?

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Avantgo today? I'd ask them ...(Avantgo), but getting through their e-mail support is a chore lately.

I've been having trouble with them for a few days now. I don't know if it is a hardware (Treo 650) or software issue but I haven't been able to sync for a couple of days now (via pc, not wirelessly).
 
Hmmmm.... O.K. I just tried to sync and it went through the whole process and then when i opened it up, it asked for my user name and password.

This is likely to happen when the last synchronization with AvantGo failed or was disrupted. I haven't found a short solution for this, as I've also encountered this problem every now and then. The only way I know to cure this is to re-run the AvantGo installer. Five minutes and my AvantGo is back in business.

I did a Hotsync just now and my AvantGo channels seems to be working fine.
 
They did announce that they'd be down for a day (forget which day specifically, but within the last day or two)

As for Avantgo asking for your password, go to their site and look for the "HElP" section. It will discribe how to fix the problem (it involves launching Avantgo Connect on your PC, and reconfiguring) I have this issue every couple of months.
 
hey i am new to AvantGo quick question do i need to be logged on to AvantGo.com to refresh my channels on my TX? Or does it refresh the channels on Hotsync anyway without being logged on? :confused:
