is applying to medical school after i graduate a bad idea? this is not only for gpa and mcat purposes, but i like my degree a lot and i'd like to see what jobs i can get in industry. my gpa is a 3.54, and my major is bioinformatics. i'd like to have a good chunk of time to do really well on the mcat. do they frown on this in the admissions process? also, i'm being completely honest; a lot of my courses are tougher than my bio-peers reqs (not bragging here, so please understand!). will they look at this? thanks for reading through this exhausting question and i can't wait to hear some professional answers!
