Is anyone living with a paranoid schizophrenic?

how do I deal with living with a paranoid schizophrenic? I need help I've been married for 17 years now and of the last three years my husbands been so paranoid. He thinks everyone's talking about him, driving down our streets for him, and every conversation he thinks has to do with him. He quit his job because he says people there were trying to kill him and no he doesn't do any drugs. He has a long history of this in his family and just one day out of nowhere he became this monster. He constantly thinks I'm trying to poison his food. I love and want to help him but the more I suggest seeking help the more he says "I'm one of them". please has anyone else gone through this? I do everything for him, work, pay all the bills and try to maintain a normal life but it's having a lot of effect on me. I'm starting to break down mentally. please help!!!!!!!
 
I don't have a good answer for you, just wanted to let you know that I feel sorry for what you're going through and send you good wishes...PS: if he does have a tendency to violence, start accepting the idea that this might be leading towards the end of your marriage - and that you might have to make a decision on when and how to end it... before he does.
