is anyone familiar with the Chili's employment process?

I went in today and filled out an application and then asked to speak to the manager. I handed the manager my application and he looked it over then said it looked good and asked me to come back tomorrow at 4 because he was just about to run into a meeting.

Is this good for me or is it just some necessary thing they do with all applicants? and any tips?

I am a server and the foh training manager. Normally they look over your app and do a spot on interview if things look alright. If you do well in the first interview you get a second one with the General Manager. If all goes well the GM will decide if you are hired or not. Depending on what job you get it is an extensive training process. But it's all for you benefit so you be the best you can at your job.
 
If he asked you to come back, that is always a good sign. Don't be nervous and be honest You will more than likely have only one interview. Two at the most..
