ignorance and media misconceptions? I post questions on here to test people's ignorance on world issues and cultures, and it seems we lack any knowledge of laws of individual countries and what is happening in the rest of the world. Americans seem to be under the impression the world outside the US is a theme park populated with happy little elves, and we are willing to toss into the garbage all we have because of this misconception. Has the media successfully brainwashed tens of millions of people?
