Throughout the past 10 or so years my family has turned to Sprint for phone services. During this time we have had nothing but problems with their so called "services." We have had several charges placed on our bills for unknown reasons. When we call the Sprint company to ask what they are for, the workers who are supposed to assist us aren't very helpful and are usually flat-out rude. I'm no expert on business qualities, but I would think an understanding and ready-to-help attitude would lead to more accepting customers. Signals have also been decreasing in strength over the past couple of years. I can be sitting in my house, which is located in the middle of the city, and barely have a signal. My friends with At&t almost always have a strong signal. Even though the services are being reduced, the prices are still raising. It's almost outrageous. Another problem we face with Sprint is updating our phones. When we go to upgrade our phones or buy a new phone we always run into trouble. It seems like Sprint finds ways to alter the contracts that have been signed by their customers. My LG Rumor Touch recently stopped working. I haven't had this phone for very long. I don't abuse it, haven't dropped it or spilled anything on it. When I called Sprint to see what my options for replacing it were the person I was directed to talk to gave me the response, "Phones break, I don't know how to fix it. You should go to a Sprint store and spend your time asking them your questions instead of asking me." He was very rude and in my opinion shouldn't be working for a company who is supposed to work with people. Especially if he has no idea how to work some of his company's phones. I'm not asking for the perfect phone company, I just want one that will at least try to help. Nobody deserves to have a phone company treat them like this. I know I'm not the only person who has had problems with Sprint. For any of you that have had issues like this with Sprint, I would sincerely appreciate your feedback. Considering Sprint makes buying out of a contract nearly impossible, I will be looking to switch to At&t or verizon when mine expires. Until then I guess I'm stuck with the seemingly non-caring Sprint company. What a joy. :/
