Is anyone else curious about when Criterion will release more Charlie Chaplin films?

I am so fed up! I saw The Kid not too long ago and I absolutely fell in love with Charlie Chaplin. I love watching many of his short films too. Much to my chagrin, however, the only feature length films of his currently in print are Modern Times and the Great Dictator. Both are Criterion products, and I'm sure they've done a great job restoring his films (I haven't purchased them yet). Criterion has the North American distribution rights to his films (so I think the story goes). Anyway, I'm sure they'll eventually release all of his films, or at least the major ones, but they seem to be taking their precious time. Does anyone know anything whatsoever about future release dates? There's no way I'm splashing 100 dollars for a used copy of any of the films on amazon or ebay in their pre-Criterion iterations (some people have the nerve to charge that much).

Does anyone have a favourite film of Charlie Chaplin? I'd love to see much more of his work. I hate how some films of little importance can stay in print for so long, and yet some films like Chaplin's are a rare find on DVD. I know some studios do this so that they can re-release films on certain anniversaries to make money, but it truly sucks. For a more recent example, how many of you would believe that the Titanic is out of print? It's not even 15 years old, and was the highest grossing film of all time until Avatar came along. Now I've gotta wait for some 15th/20th/etc. anniversary edition to come out, loaded with features I'll never use and at a price I'll be very reluctant to pay...

Building a movie collection can be an expensive hobby, but it sure as heck beats stamp collecting (no offense to any stamp collectors out there)...
