Is Animal Crossing: City Folk Wii a fun game worth buying?

Hey.

I currently have a Nintendo DS, and Animal Crossing: Wild World for it.
It's pretty fun, I can't complain i guess.
I'm thinking of getting a Wii soon, and I need to know if Animal Crossing: City Folk is any fun and worth buying
Please tell me if it's a fun game, and worth that $50+
