American history, in my opinion, is the funnest and easiest part of history to learn. You should start outlining. What that is, is getting the roots(the most important part of the period you are studying), and then breaking it down into sub-roots, and from then do the same, and so on. Don't be afraid, you'll get through it. Remember: history is alot of reading!
