a very interesting article about how global trade has essentially eroded America's manufacturing economy. some people in finance and economics have told me this trend will continue also into white collar jobs. an accountant in india for example makes the same salary in one month as a wal mart employee does here in a single day. accounting jobs are already being outsourced.
Well, would you agree or disagree that America is going to have a very bad decade ahead of itself? And I know some people here would be tempted to bash unions. But really, if you want to make wages competitive in the US, you'd essentially have to pay people 150 dollars a month.
