Is a working at a "corporate" gym as a personal trainer a good idea?

Im considering getting certified and working in a corporate gym setting. i.e Lifetime Fitness, 24 hour fitness, etc. What is it like working at places like this? Is it a good job? Is this the best route to take when starting a personal training career?
Anyone have any experience working as a Personal trainer at Lifetime Fitness? What is it like?
