For my art class I have to do a critique of a sculpture. I found a mask that has been carved out of wood and has paint and bits of metal on it. Would this count as a "sculpture"?
If it is carved it is a sculpture. In the art world they would say that this is a "mixed medium" sculpture as it uses paint and metal and wood....three mediums so because it is not just wood we say "mixed mediums"
