Is a wiring harness for a '99 Suzuki GSX-R750 compatible with any other year?

I'm considering buying a '99 gixxer for about $300 but I know itll need a new wiring harness. I am having a lot of difficulty finding one online for the specific year and model. Does anybody know if other years or models of bike's wiring harnesses would work?
 
Probably the quickest way to find out is to go to bike bandit.com and look to see if the #'s match on the years you want to interchange.
