(Im thinking of Having my business with my name in it) and Im just getting started.

Does this mean I'll be able to buy wholesale as well?

Typically no. Generally your Attorney General's office found under your state listings will have a way for you to register your business. Also, if you need and EIN number you'll need to find it at irs.gov.
