Is a tinted moisturizer better than a pressed powder?

I'm 15 years old and my face is pale and i just don't like the look of the color. I'm currently using a pressed powder oil control from revlon. I'm interested in the tinted moisturizer. Which one is better for my skin or, in other words, which one will not harm my skin as much?
