if time is relative and the faster you go time slows down is it possible or plausible that an advanced civilization be space faring?
for example if a ship was sent out at faster than the speed of light (assuming that an advanced civilization has overcome that speed limit) to explore a distant world and the round trip took them 5 years by the time they got back they would only be 5 years older but the people on their home world would be many years older? is distant space travel plausable?
