I recently bought a 50" Sanyo Plasma Screen TV from Wal-Mart. I got it on sale for only $500 and I purchased a 3 year warranty for $119. I plugged it in and it looks great, but our super-critical roommates had a few things to say. They told us they don't last very long, they break easily, and they aren't at the quality of an LCD of the same brand/size.
I've heard mixed reviews about plasma screens, but does anyone have personal experience with a Sanyo plasma? I thought it was a good deal, especially with the warranty, but I wanted an outside opinion.
